Selective demolition and wall removal; Structural beam installation; Cabinet layout redesign; Countertops, backsplash, lighting and finish work.

Challenges

A load-bearing wall had to be addressed before the room could be opened. Appliance positions and service points also had to be reorganized without creating clutter in the final layout.

Solution

The structural opening was reinforced with a new beam, allowing the room to connect visually to the dining zone. The cabinet plan was rebuilt around storage efficiency, wider work surfaces and stronger lighting. Surface materials were selected to keep the room bright while still giving it enough contrast and depth.

Painted custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, porcelain backsplash, integrated LED task lighting, durable flooring and brushed metal hardware.
